2.19 - souper duper
today is my last day in tokyo and my last day with the ks—they’re off for solo roves before re-crossing across the pacific. we’re knocking items off my bucket list left and right: visit the old fish market, survive the shibuya scramble, see live jazz, and, most importantly, order my HOT drinks from the prolific vending machines. what a marvel! in addition to coffee and tea, it’s come to my attention that you can even order hot corn soup. subsequently, ‘hot corn soup’ has become a bit of an unexpected idiom, only one with no apparent meaning. maybe it’s good to separate them after all…
